Chameleon Shipping Policy

At Fired Up Chameleons, the health and safety of our animals is our top priority. We follow strict shipping protocols to ensure every chameleon arrives healthy, secure, and stress-free.

Shipping Days

We ship Monday through Wednesday only.
This avoids weekend delays and ensures your chameleon travels on the fastest, safest schedule.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee when the following conditions are met:

  • Someone must be present at the FedEx or UPS Hub to physically receive the package in person.

  • Temperatures at the origin, hub, and destination must be within our safe shipping range.

If an issue occurs, you must contact us within 1 hour of delivery with clear photos and video of the animal and unboxing.

Weather & Temperature Holds

Chameleons are extremely sensitive to temperature.

  • We reserve the right to delay shipment if weather conditions are unsafe (too hot or too cold).

  • When temperatures require it, we will add heat packs or cool packs at no extra cost.

  • We request that the package be shipped “Hold for Pickup” at your nearest FedEx Ship Center for the animal’s safety.

Shipping Method & Carrier

We ship overnight using FedEx or UPS Priority Overnight (live animal–approved locations only).
Tracking information is provided the evening your chameleon is shipped

Address & Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Being available to receive the package

  • Following any care instructions provided for acclimating your new chameleon after arrival

We are not responsible for delays caused by FedEx, weather, or circumstances beyond our control, but we will always work with you to find a fair resolution.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy

In the rare event of a DOA:

  • You must notify us within 1 hour of the recorded delivery time.

  • You must provide video or photos showing the box, the animal in its shipping cup/bag, and temperature conditions.

Approved claims will be handled with either:

  • A replacement chameleon (when available), or

  • A full refund of the purchase price (shipping is non-refundable)
